Hello, my name is Paul Vickery.  I live in Belfast and have been driving for pleasure since 1995 and teaching driving lessons since 2004, where I started work for a local driving school in London as a Potential Driving Instructor (PDI). 

Within 6 months I was awarded the ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) licence, which allowed me to start my own driving school business, mydrivinginstructor.com, where I have enjoyed meeting and teaching individuals from many different backgrounds over the past few years, including teaching driving lessons in Belfast most recently with Acclaim Driving School on the Ormeau Road, BT7. 

I hold the Grade 6 ADI licence, which means "I teach to a very high standard" as quoted by the DVA (Driver and Vehicle Agency). 

Previous to this, I worked for Marks and Spencer for 17 years in many different roles   including Human Resources and Customer Services.  My years at Marks and Spencer helped me to understand people and to treat them with respect as individuals. 

This, paired with the fact I drive exactly how I teach,  helps pupils pass their tests confidently and helps to ensure they drive safely for life. For me, this really helps my business run smoothly and successfully.
