On first meeting your Driving Instructor, please bring with you:
1. A valid provisional licence; either the "Old" style paper licence with a valid passport or "New" style with photo identification with the paper counterpart.
2. Theory Test certificate (only required if already passed).
3. Glasses or contact lenses, if you have poor eyesight - The distance requirement for the old-style number plate is 20.5 metres. The distance requirement for the eyesight test with the new-style number plate is 20 metres. New-style number plates were introduced on 1 September 2001 and are easily identifiable because they start with two letters ie AB51 ABC.
Paying by Cash or Cheque:
Please note, at least one driving lesson or driving lesson course must be paid in advance (should you wish to carry on after your first lesson). This is to cover short notice cancellations (please see below). Cheques are accepted and should be made payable to Paul Vickery.

SPECIAL OFFER 2: First Five Driving Lessons: £99 (5 Hours)
This offer applies to any new pupil. Please note, one offer per pupil. These driving lessons must be taken separately, or as a double driving lesson (2hrs). All 5 lessons must be used within 12 weeks. If you would like more driving lessons in a single day, please try the Intensive Driving Course.
SPECIAL OFFER 3: First Ten Driving Lessons: £220 (10 Hours)
This offer applies to any new pupil. Please note, one offer per pupil. These driving lessons must be taken separately, or as a double driving lesson. All 10 lessons must be used within 12 weeks. If you would like more driving lessons in a single day, please try the Intensive Driving Lesson Course.
Normal Rate Driving Lesson: £25 (1 Hour)
This driving lesson is designed for pupils who prefer not to pay for a discounted block, or just need refreshing after passing their test.
Student Rate Driving Lesson: £24 (1 Hour)
This is a discounted driving lesson for students. ID must be shown.
1 Day Intensive Driving Lesson Course: £150 (6 Hours including 1 Hour Break)
This driving lesson course is designed for pupils who are unable to study between lessons, or who find information difficult to retain. There is plenty of time to practice and recap throughout the day. The Driving Lesson Course is also useful for pupils who have a test coming up. Start times for the Driving Lesson Course are from 10 or 11am, finishing at 4 or 5pm. An hour break will be taken during those times. Start times can be flexible.
Hire of Car for Practical Test: £80 (Includes 1hr driving lesson before Practical Driving Test)
Please note, payments are to be made 1 week in advance. This includes a 1hr driving lesson before the actual test. Pick-up is from agreed address. You must use your driving instructor’s car to take your test and may only take your test if your driving instructor feels you are ready.
Cancellations:
Please note, all booked lessons, changed or cancelled without at least 48 hours notice (from the time you have booked) must be paid for. Driving Lesson Courses and “Hire of Car for Practical Test” fees require at least 1 weeks notice. Your Driving Instructor is responsible to give you at least 48 hours notice to cancel lessons, too. If not, you will not be charged for your next short-notice cancellation. Please however, try to keep to your appointments.
Refunds:
It is your right to a refund for any reason as long as you give at least 48 hours notice. Driving Lesson Courses and “Hire of Car for Practical Test fee” require at least 1 week notice. There will be a 10% administration charge on any refunds. So, please be sure you wish to continue before booking future driving lessons. Refunds will be sent to you via cheque.
